Apple presented its latest line of earphones, a pair of buds called EarPods on Wednesday night (September 12, 2012). Shipping with the new iPhone 5 and iPods, the EarPods are Apple's latest generation of earbuds. The EarPod headphones are significantly better in terms of sound quality than previous ones. The EarPods offer much more bass and generally clean, pleasant sound. The bass is added with acoustic vents in the stem of each EarPod to help minimize sound loss. Moreover, Apple points out that the new EarPod board is more sealed and secure, which makes the headphones more durable than their predecessors. The integrated inline-remote and microphone are also sealed better, protecting the new headphones from water or sweat damage. However, there are several shortcomings for users. The new EarPods still leak some sound as you bring the volume up to higher levels. These earphones are included with all of Apple's new iPhones and iPods, though, they cost $29 as a separate accessory.
Apple’s earbuds have finally gotten a big upgrade after three years of research and development. Especially, the new EarPod headphones comfortably fit a wide variety of ears.
You are certainly pleased to know that the inline remote appears to have an improved seal with greater resistance to water and sweat.
The new earphones have a vented enclosure for deeper bass and a new design that is intended to better fit the ear. So, listeners feel convenient while enjoying music or audio playback.
The most interesting change is a move to paper cones surrounded by a polymer, shifting away from the all-plastic design seen in the previous headphones.
